1. Who this policy covers
NK Moving Solutions (“NK,” “we,” “us”) uses this website to provide information about moving services and receive inquiries. This policy explains information collected through the site and our related quote communications. It does not replace the separate documents for a booked move.
Our quote form is provided by DIBS, which processes quote information on our behalf. External websites you choose to visit have their own privacy policies.
2. Information we collect
Depending on what you share and the service you request, we collect:
- Contact details, such as your name, phone number, and email address.
- Move details, such as pickup and delivery locations, preferred date, property type, move size, inventory, access requirements, and packing or storage needs.
- Messages and other information you choose to provide when you contact us.
- Your communication choices and records of consent, including the wording presented and when consent was given.
- Technical and form-use information, such as IP address, browser or device information, page address, referring source, campaign information, a session identifier, and form steps viewed or completed.
Form-use information can be collected before you submit a quote request. If address suggestions are offered, the characters you type may be sent through DIBS to its address-suggestion provider, Google.
Please do not put payment-card details, government identification numbers, passwords, or other unnecessary sensitive information in a quote request or ordinary email. Only provide another person’s details if you are authorized to do so.
3. How we use information
We use information to respond to inquiries, prepare estimates, discuss availability and service requirements, arrange and support requested services, and keep records of our communications. We also use technical and form-use information to understand quote-form performance and referral sources, troubleshoot problems, prevent misuse, and protect the site.
We may retain or use relevant records to meet legal obligations, handle complaints or claims, and resolve disputes. Providing details for a quote does not itself reserve a moving date.
4. Service providers and disclosures
Our website is hosted on Netlify. DIBS operates the quote form and routes inquiries to NK. Hosting, database, email, communication, and other service providers process information needed to perform their roles. Where a booking or customer-management system is connected, quote information may be passed to that system to manage your inquiry.
DIBS describes its providers, including Supabase, email delivery, address suggestions, and optional phone or AI-assistant services, in its Privacy Policy. Its policy also explains its own retention and privacy-request processes. Provider arrangements may change.
We do not sell your personal information or provide your quote details to unrelated moving companies for their marketing. Mobile numbers and messaging-consent information are not shared with third parties for their own marketing; providers may process them to deliver communications on our behalf.
We may disclose information when legally required, to respond to valid legal requests, or as reasonably necessary to protect people, our services, or legal rights. If services from another business are needed for your move, ask us to clarify that business’s role and the information required before proceeding.
5. Calls, texts, and your choices
We may reply to your inquiry using the contact details you provide. The quote form presents separate consent wording for calls and texts. Where you give the relevant consent and the feature is enabled, communications about your estimate may include automated calls, text messages, or an AI voice assistant acting for NK.
Consent to automated calls or texts is not a condition of purchasing moving services. You can call or email us directly instead. Message frequency varies, and carrier message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to a text to opt out of further texts, or contact us to withdraw consent or change your communication preferences.
DIBS says calls with its assistant may be recorded and associated with a lead, with notice where required. Ask the caller if you are unsure whether a call is being recorded. Contact us about an alternative way to discuss your move if you do not want to use an automated or recorded call.
This policy does not create consent by itself or replace the choices and disclosures shown when consent is requested.
6. Browser storage, optional measurement, and external links
DIBS uses browser storage and session identifiers for form operation and performance measurement. Its public policy states that its form does not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. Those statements describe the DIBS form, not the separate Google measurement choices below. The quote form works with any optional measurement choice.
“Analytics only” loads Google Analytics through Google Tag Manager to understand visits, campaign sources, page engagement, quote and phone-link clicks, testimonial opens, and successful quote submissions. A completed quote is an inquiry, not a confirmed booking. “Analytics + ad measurement” additionally allows advertising-measurement storage and sharing of visit and conversion data, including ad-click identifiers, with Google Ads to understand which ads lead to inquiries. These choices do not enable personalized advertising, remarketing or Google signals.
We do not send the form’s names, emails, phone numbers, moving addresses, free-text answers or lead identifiers as website Analytics event parameters. We restrict page-address information to published pages and validated campaign identifiers. Technical measurement data can include browser/device information and cookie identifiers. Google processes measurement information under its Privacy Policy.
Google Analytics uses cookies such as _ga and a property-specific _ga_ cookie. Ad measurement can use advertising cookies such as _gcl_*. We remember your choice in local browser storage for up to 180 days. Optional Google measurement stays off unless you accept a choice. An earlier Analytics-only acceptance does not grant permission for ad measurement.
Use “Privacy preferences” in the footer to change your choice. Declining stops the website’s Google measurement and clears its measurement cookies. Switching from ad measurement to Analytics-only clears the existing measurement cookies and reloads the page with the narrower choice. Withdrawal does not erase reports already collected. No choice is required to request a quote.
Your browser also lets you clear or restrict cookies and site storage. Blocking storage or scripts may affect the quote form; you can still contact NK by phone or email. A measurement or browser choice does not withdraw communication consent you previously gave. Contact us for that. Conversely, quote-form consent to calls or texts does not grant optional Google measurement consent.
Google Maps, social profiles, and other external links take you to services operated by other organizations. Visiting or interacting with those services is subject to their policies. We will update this policy if our website’s collection practices change.
7. Retention, security, and processing locations
We retain inquiry and customer information for the purposes described here, taking account of ongoing communications, services, recordkeeping requirements, and potential claims. Retention depends on the record and the circumstances; requesting a quote does not mean your information is deleted immediately after a reply. Copies held by service providers and backups may follow different deletion schedules.
DIBS’s current policy states that leads and associated consent records are generally held while a moving company’s account is active, with separate rules for account closure, requests, and backups. Contact us to ask about the records associated with your inquiry or to request deletion.
No website, email service, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. We use service providers to support the site and take reasonable steps to protect information; please avoid sending sensitive documents through ordinary email.
NK is based in the United States, and DIBS states that its data is stored in the United States. Hosting and other providers may process technical information in other locations. Privacy protections can differ by location.
8. Privacy requests
You can contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of information associated with you, or to change communication preferences. Depending on where you live and which laws apply, you may have additional rights, such as obtaining a copy, opting out of particular processing, or appealing a decision.
We may need to verify your identity or an authorized representative’s permission before responding. We will respond within the period required by applicable law and explain any information we must retain or request we cannot fulfill. If you disagree with a response, reply and ask for a review. We do not require payment or a purchase to make a privacy request.

9. Children
Our quote services are intended for adults arranging a move, not children under 18. We do not knowingly seek personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
10. Updates and contact
We may update this policy as our services or practices change. The date at the top identifies the latest version. Where required, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent for a material change.
For a privacy question or request, use “Privacy request” as your email subject and provide enough information for us to locate your inquiry. Please do not send identification documents unless we request a suitable verification method.
